EN || The ‘Art Path’ exhibition introduces the newest art from the The Jyväskylä University art collection.Â
Yliopiston taidekokoelma on laaja ja se käsittää yli tuhat teosta. Vanhimmat teokset on hankittu Jyväskylän seminaarin aikana 1800-luvun lopussa ja niihin kuuluu seminaarin johtaja Uno Cygnaeuksen muotokuva. Kokoelma karttuu vuosittain pääosin keskisuomalaisten taiteilijoiden töistä. Juhlavuoden kunniaksi teoksia on hankittu oman maakunnan taiteilijoiden teosten lisäksi myös valtakunnallisista näyttelyistä.
Teokseni Kolmas ovi (2008) ja Muualle (2010) ovat nähtävissä Seminaarinmäen Historica-rakennuksessa (H-rakennus), kuten samaan näyttelyyn kuuluvat Osmo Rauhalan ja Jaakko Valon teokset.

The university has a large art collection, with over 1000 artworks. The oldest artworks in the collection are from the late 19th century when the university started as Jyväskylä seminar, including a portrait of the seminar headmaster, Uno Cygnaeus. The collection grows each year and mostly the new works purchased are from the artists who come from Central Finland area. Because of the 150 year anniversary of this year, some artworks have been purchased from the national exhibitions.
My prints The Third Door (2008) and Elsewhere (2010), as well as the works from Osmo Rauhala and Jaakko Valo, are exhibited at the Jyväskylä University Kampus, Historica Building (H Building) at Seminaarinmäki.
