Seitsemän vedoksen sarja on osa suurempaa Kyyneltarha-kokonaisuutta. Kokonaisuus koostuu eri kokoisista, eri muotoisista ja eri tekniikoin toteutetuista kuvasarjoista, joissa Kyynelpuun hedelmät ja marjat ovat esillä muodossa tai toisessa, puissa, oksissa, taimissa, kimpuissa ja hedelminä; surun tummat, vihan punertavat, ilon hiljaisina hehkuvat ja onnen sädehtivät kyyneleet.
Kokonaisuuden ensimmäiset työt olivat 2012 tekemäni kolmen pienen vedoksen sarja Kyynelpuun hedelmät (I-III), joka seuraavana vuonna sai seurakseen vedoksen Kyynelpuun taimi. Kyyneltarhan keskelle on kasvamassa hiljaa suurikokoinen Kyynelpuu, jonka luonnostelun aloitin 2009.
Kaikki sarjan teokset sekä niihin liittyviä tarinoita löytyvät Kyynelpuutarhurin päiväkirja -julkaisusta.

The seven print series is part of the bigger entity, The Garden of Tears. It consists of prints of several sizes and shapes made using several techniques, in which the fruits and berries of the Tree of Tears are shown in a form or another, in trees, branches, seedlings, bouquets and as fruits; those darkened tears of sadness, reddish tears of anger, silently glowing tears of joy, and glimmering tears of happiness.
The first artworks of the entity were in 2012 the Fruits of the Tree of Tears (I-III), the series of three small prints, and next year a print The Seedling of a Tree of Tears followed. In the mids of the Garden of Tears, The Tree of Tears is slowly growing – I started sketching the tree already in 2009.
All the artworks of the series are also published in the Kyynelpuutarhurin päiväkirja book (The Diary of a Tear Gardener, only in Finnish at the moment).
