Suunnittelin kolmen kuvan sarjan alunperin triptyykiksi, mutta kun se valmistui, huomasin, että työt ovat eri lukuja samasta tarinasta. Tai otoksia samaan aikaisesti tapahtuvista rinnakkaismaailmoista.
Eri versioita miehestä sateenvarjon luurangon kanssa on piirtynyt muistikirjaani jo useiden vuosien ajan, mutta se ei löytänyt lopullista muotoaan vuosiin. Kuvituksia olemattomiin kertomuksiin -näyttely ja tämä Kuvia unohduksen partaalta -teossarja rakentui oikeastaan kokonaan Suoja-teoksen pohjalta. Siksi yksi versio kuvasta sai näytellä osaa myös näyttelyn kutsukortissa.

Originally I planned these three pictures to be a triptych, but when the series was finished, I noticed that they are separate chapters of the same story. Or snapshots taken simultaneously at the parallel universies.
I have drawn versions of a man standing with a sceleton of umbrella in his hands for many years, but I didn’t find the final form for the picture in years. Illustrations for Nonexistent Stories and this Pictures from the Brink of Oblivion series were practically bild around The Aegis print. That’s why one version of the picture was chosen to the invitation card of the exhibition.
